PARIS MUSEUMS
For
the lovers of the art, the Paris museums will be - without a doubt
a paradise and will leave them impressed by the amount and the
quality of its museums. Although the presence of one of the most
important museums of the world as The Louvre, already justify the
visit of Paris, the museums offer of the French capital doesn’t
finish there.
Without
a single doubt – a jewel in the crown of the Parisian Museums is
The Louvre – a place where the whole days can be spent while
discovering and admiring the wonders of linen cloths, beauty of
sculptures or objects of world heritage and remains of lost
civilisations. If your idea of the visit is simply “to see the
essential” because of the lack of time, you will have the
problem to choose between the “best of” offer. Nevertheless
don’t miss the Giocconda, or Mona Lisa, and stay a while to
contemplate The
Samothraki Battle,
and The Hammurabi Code. Those are at least the most important
samples of paintings, sculpture and historical element that had a
great influence for the history of the humanity.
In
the shadow of the Louvre, exist the others, like the Musee
d’Orsay. Located opposite of the Louvre, created in the old
train station, it gathers an extensive and important collection of
modern art, being one of the most important of world in this
sense.
